Kumkumadi is a medicinal skin care formulation found in the {ashtanga hridayama}, a root text of Ayurvedic medicine dating back 1500 years.
The Sanskrit name {kumkum-adi} refers to the key ingredient Saffron {kumkum}, prized for its ability to renew the skin and restore its radiance, revealing a natural, lit-from-within glow.

Are oils suitable for blemish-prone or oily skin?

Luxurious bliss
This feels like sheer luxurious indulgence for the skin. My skin was so soft afterwards. I did this of an evening after cleansing my face. Used in conjunction with the massaging wand. Felt completely relaxing as I laid in bed using the products purchased

Time changing miracle oil
I have dull, dry, and aging skin, and the Kama Ayurveda Youth Revitalizing Facial Oil has really helped make my skin feel softer, more hydrated, and glowing, with reduced dryness and a fresher look over time . The scent is herbal and a little strong at first, but I got used to it. It feels like a relaxing spa treatment every night. The oil feels rich and nourishing, but not too heavy. I only need 2/3 drops, and it spreads easily. My skin drinks it up, and it feels soft and smooth right after applying. After a few weeks, I noticed a nice difference,my skin looks more refreshed and has a glow. The dryness and tight feeling have reduced a lot. Fine lines around my mouth and eyes also look a bit softer and dark spots are fading.

I’ve been using the Kumkumadi Revitalising Facial Oil for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become a favorite in my routine. The texture is beautiful — lightweight, nourishing, and it sinks into the skin without feeling greasy,. The star ingredient, Kashmiri Saffron, really delivers! My skin looks more even-toned, brighter, and some of my dark spots have started to fade. It feels like my skin is getting a real boost of nutrients with every use — thanks to the blend of vitamins A, B, and C, along with healing botanicals. I also love that it’s cruelty-free and free from sulphates, parabens, and silicones — huge bonus! I use it in the evening before my moisturiser and wake up with soft, glowy, balanced skin. ✨ One downside for me is the scent — it’s quite strong and just not my favorite, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If you’re sensitive to fragrance, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, if you’re looking for an effective, Ayurvedic-inspired oil for brightening and revitalizing your skin, this one’s definitely worth a try!
